Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a
Software Automation Engineer
to support a secure flight program for TSA in
Annapolis Junction, MD . The team is seeking an engineer skilled and interested in system integration and automation tactics to improve the end-to-end testing process for this on-going secure-flight program.
Location:
Annapolis Junction, MD – on-site 1x a week
Hours:
Standard operating hours, 8-4
Clearance:
Secret clearance, must be able to pass TSA background check (3-6 weeks)
Responsibilities of the Automation Engineer
Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle.
Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite.
Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration.
Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
Qualifications of the Automation Engineer
Bachelors degree and 1+ years of experience in software testing, working with and supporting the development of an overall test plan and tailored test plans for each release.
Active Secret clearance, willing to obtain TSA clearance.
Must have experience using one or more of the following test management tools: Cucumber, Selenium, Rational Team Concert.
Familiarity with API and regression testing.
Compensation of the Automation Engineer
Compensation: $85,000-$100,000
based on total years of experience .

Hybrid work – remote 4x a week.
Fully funded, long‑term program (3+ years remaining).
