
Continuous Improvement Engineer

Position Summary
Tuuci is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across the organization. This role will focus on identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety through the application of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
The ideal candidate will be data-driven and analytical, guiding teams through successful process enhancements from concept to implementation.
Location & Reporting Relationships
This position is based in Miami, FL and reports to the Director of Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Analyze existing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools
Design and implement effective problem‑solving techniques, Lean systems, and performance improvement initiatives across the company
Apply advanced Lean principles to define and implement process improvements for operations
Apply fundamental database relations and design for Six Sigma methods
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Develop and deliver training on Six Sigma tools and methodologies to business teams and leaders
Serve as a role model for operational excellence and develop sustainable Lean practices
Work with leadership to foster learning, alignment, and accountability while removing barriers to improvement
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify improvement opportunities through data gathering and statistical analysis
Diagnose and evaluate key performance metrics (cost, quality, delivery, safety, morale)
Lead and coordinate strategic performance improvement initiatives, including new product development
Promote efficiency and safety throughout all operational processes
Ensure effective and professional communication of business‑related items, verbally and in writing
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical field required; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in continuous improvement with hands‑on Lean application
5+ years of Operations/Supply Chain Management experience
At least 2 years of experience applying Lean and Six‑Sigma principles
Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping and other process‑improvement tools
Experience training and developing teams in Lean methodologies
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional improvement projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and database management systems
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred not required)
