The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials for heavy civil works projects such as generation, power infrastructure (transmission, distribution, substations), solar, wind, dams, buried infrastructure, tunnels, etc.

Perform analysis, design calculations, design sketches, and prepare geotechnical design reports to meet project requirements.

Perform, coordinate, and manage geotechnical field investigations.

Coordinate, manage, observe, and document geotechnical construction activities such as grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining walls.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate internal teams and resources while understanding client interests and needs.

Develop structural technical specifications, plans, and details for projects such as power generation facilities, substations, transmission lines, solar sites, dams, canals, flood control projects, municipal water, wastewater, and pipelines.

Plan, design, and oversee geotechnical aspects for projects both in the office and in the field.

Travel on field assignments as required (estimated field time 20–40%).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with geotechnical investigations, grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining walls.

Prefer a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program in the U.S. or equivalent abroad.

Minimum of 1 year related work experience.

Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).

U.S. citizenship is a requirement.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days, based on manager discretion.

Typical office and construction environments; exposure to extreme weather, high noise, and safety hazards such as electric currents, scaffolding, and chemicals.

Tasks may involve sitting, walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Compensation Range
$86,909.00 – $152,053.00
