What You Can Expect

Provides support to Zimmer Biomet employees, including direct hires and 1099 contractors, in meeting vendor credentialing requirements for access to healthcare facilities and sterile core areas across the United States. This role reports to a U.S.-based supervisor and operates as part of a dedicated team focused on U.S. vendor credentialing activities.
How You'll Create Impact

Act as the point of contact for the vendor credentialing support inbox and incoming calls; direct inquiries to appropriate departments or personnel.
Initiate the vendor credentialing process for newly onboarded employees and sales representatives requiring access to U.S. healthcare facilities.
Review, label, and file incoming documentation; maintain a structured shared folder system in Microsoft Teams.
Run compliance reports in iLearn and assist with training-related administrative duties, including issuing product competency letters and coordinating curriculum assignments with the iLearn administrator.
Track credentialing requirements and exemptions related to third-party vendor credentialing companies used by hospitals and healthcare systems.
Assist in reconciling and coding monthly and annual billing from credentialing vendors; support invoicing and approval processes.
Support the annual insurance renewal process and generate specialty certificates as needed.
Troubleshoot issues with third-party credentialing platforms and escalate complex cases to the senior team as needed.
Participate in ad hoc projects and provide general administrative support to the U.S. Vendor Credentialing team.

Your Background

High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an administrative role serving multiple customers.
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, recording keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
