Administrative Assistant

The highly organized and detail-driven candidate will provide Administrative Assistant support to a government agency in Arlington, VA. They must be customer-focused, punctual, proactive, collaborative, and flexible, with the ability to build strong working relationships with staff and customers at all levels. Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Director of the Command Logistics Department
Maintain databases and records
Receive visitors and phone calls
Manage calendars for the Director and Team
Operate office equipment, including computers, typewriters, faxes, printers, and copiers
Assist in developing business processes and procedures for Command Logistics operations
Draft, edit, and type various documents, including, but not limited to, memos, letters, spreadsheets, and presentations in electronic and paper media
Enter space management and Health Club related information into computer databases and spreadsheets using various databases such as Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint
Maintain logistics correspondence and Health Club membership records, logs, and files
Coordinate services with the Mailroom Clerk
Assist in conducting internal studies and draft reports on space management related issues
Assist in the preparation and execution of meetings and conferences.
Manage facilities requests and act as a liaison between customers and contractor personnel
Manage the department's SharePoint site
Operate the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS)
Provide backup support to the Common Access Card (CAC) and Supply Room departments
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
US Citizenship
Active DoD SECRET Clearance
Possess an Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and/or have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an Administrative Assistant.
Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint
