Days: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM plus call (approximately 1 day a week, 1 weekend per month)
Job Description
The Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide high‑quality patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The role involves closely monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, administering medications, and assisting with their recovery process.
Responsibilities
Monitor patient vital signs and manage comfort levels in the recovery phase
Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed
Communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members regarding patient status
Provide education and support to patients and their families about the recovery process
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
ACLS and PALS certifications required
1+ year of PACU experience preferred
Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from the facility
