Site Security Supervisor

Site Security Supervisor is responsible for supporting the safety and security of employees, guests, property, and assets. This role oversees the day-to-day activities of security personnel, ensures compliance with established security policies and procedures, assists with risk assessments, and responds to incidents as needed.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce compliance with security policies, procedures, and protocols.
Assist in conducting risk assessments, security audits, and threat assessments.
Manage access control, surveillance, and alarm systems, ensuring proper operation.
Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing timely reporting to leadership.
Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies as directed by the Security Manager.
Maintain accurate records of security incidents, training, and daily activities.
Conduct daily safety rounds and support staff training initiatives.
Support the development and implementation of facility security and emergency action plans, including fire prevention and response procedures.
Lead by example, ensuring the team follows all safety and security standards.
Assist with other duties as assigned by the Security Manager, based on the business needs of the facility.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in security operations, with some supervisory or team leadership experience.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, with the ability to respond to alarms or incidents after hours.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Ability to make independent decisions and maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to guide, motivate, and supervise security staff effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to collaborate with other departments and interact professionally with employees and visitors.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
Knowledge of security systems, emergency procedures, and risk management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications for reporting and documentation.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Prior security experience in high-tech manufacturing
OSHA training/certification
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Standard office environment
Work weekends and/or overnight shifts as necessary
Travel depending on business needs up to 10%
