Warehouse Associate II
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate II to join our team in Garner, NC. The Warehouse Associate II supports the flow of goods through the warehouse by staging, moving, and tracking materials using warehouse equipment and inventory systems. This position is key to maintaining accurate inventory and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse to support picking, packing, and shipping activities.
Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners to track inventory movements.
Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
Conduct inventory checks and help resolve stock discrepancies.
Assist with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation efforts.
Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
12 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
Experience in the printing or packaging industry strongly preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse systems and inventory tracking tools.
Ability to read and interpret documents, ruler measurements, and scales.
Proficiency in basic math (whole numbers, fractions, and decimals).
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand; frequently required to walk.
Frequently required to lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.
Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
