aerospace client
is looking for a
Maintenance Technician
to support our Facilities department. As a member of the Facilities department, you will get to support operations in the Deployable Operating Unit.
All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.
Location:
Oxnard (Onsite)
Position: Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate:
$31.75/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration:
6 months or longer
Schedule:
9x80 A
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Construct thermal chamber for new program
Interpret engineering drawings for dimensions, positioning, etc. of thermal chamber
Work with cross functional team to gather information and troubleshoot as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Experience reading and using engineering drawings
• Problem solving, collaboration skills and verbal/written communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• US Citizenship is a requirement for employment
Preferred Qualifications: Occasionally be on call during critical processes; e.g. startup of project
Experience constructing thermal chambers or other similar structures
