Responsibilities
Negotiate supplier frame contracts, define sourcing concepts, and execute sourcing activities, including sending RfQs, negotiating, and nominating suppliers for tools and components within the material group (new projects, lifetime extensions, change management, etc.).
Analyze suppliers to identify improvement opportunities and develop corresponding qualification measures, involving internal units to optimize the process chain between the supplier and Forvia Hella.
Own and analyze all company projections and supplier bandwidth to achieve production goals.
Process company POs and successfully negotiate contract terms.
Achieve all required assigned project milestones.
Forge meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or a related field.
Minimum two years of relevant purchasing experience.
General computer and software skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with SAP and Ariba Purchasing modules is preferred but not required.
Willingness to travel up to 5–10 supplier visits per year.
Excellent communication skills.
