Senior Video Editor

Acquisition.com, Las Vegas, NM, United States

About ACQ Media
ACQ Media is the in-house media engine behind Acquisition.com and its portfolio of brands led by Alex Hormozi, Leila Hormozi, and Sharran Srivatsaa.

Our mission is to build the leading business media organization in the world by 2030.

We produce high-performance long-form series, podcasts, and daily social content that reach millions of people around the globe. Our content is not vanity media, it is designed to drive measurable reach, deepen brand influence, and create downstream business impact across the entire Acquisition.com ecosystem.

We operate like a studio, not a startup content team. That means structured workflows, batch production, clear performance metrics, and an aggressive commitment to innovation, especially through AI-native production systems.

We are building a repeatable content machine that compounds: more output, higher quality, faster iteration, stronger monetization, and deeper brand equity over time.

If you’re joining ACQ Media, you’re not here to just make content. You’re here to help build a media powerhouse.

Role
The Senior Video Editor exists to produce high-quality content while setting the editorial standard for the entire editing team. This is a player‑coach role where you are responsible for both your own output and the quality of everything that ships.

You are actively editing across long‑form and short‑form content while also reviewing cuts, giving feedback, and guiding editors through creative and workflow challenges. Your work sets the bar. The team follows it.

You lead the development of new shows from an editorial perspective. You define pacing, tone, structure, and visual identity, then translate that into clear standards the team can execute against.

This role reports to the Director of Post‑Production and directly supports the performance, consistency, and growth of the editing team.

Define and document the editorial style, pacing, and structure for new shows, including templates and repeatable frameworks

Review editor cuts and provide clear, actionable feedback that improves quality and reduces revision cycles

Act as the first point of escalation for editors on creative decisions, pacing challenges, and technical issues

Mentor and develop editors through direct feedback, skill‑building, and ongoing performance guidance

Enforce post‑production standards including file management, naming conventions, and workflow consistency

Requirements

7+ years of professional video editing experience across both long‑form and short‑form content

Proven experience mentoring or leading other editors in a production or media environment

Strong editorial judgment with a clear understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention

Experience building or defining the creative direction for shows, series, or repeatable content formats

High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and comfort working within structured post‑production workflows

Strong communication skills with the ability to give direct, constructive feedback and hold quality standards
