Job Description
Jovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a Senior ISSO for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area. A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Enhancing the system security postureby supporting the program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance initiatives and enforcing security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Overseeing security operationsfor information systems, managing daily security aspects, evaluating security solutions for classified processing, and conducting vulnerability and risk analysis/assessments for system authorization.
Managing configuration and system integrityby administering configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware, ensuring compliance with security controls, and assessing the impact of system changes.
Developing and maintaining security documentation and System Security Plans lifecycle management activities to ensure compliance with system security requirements.
Providing technical expertisein security policies and operations, supporting the implementation and maintenance of security measures and countermeasures, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain compliance and strengthen the system security posture.
Driving continuous improvementby assessing existing security processes, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing proactive solutions to enhance system resilience.
Qualifications
A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related discipline, plus12+ yearsof relevant experience.In lieu of a degree, an additional4 yearsof experience may be considered on a case by case basis.
Direct Experience: 10+ yearsof in-depth experience as ISSO or combination of ISSO and other security related role supporting IC or DoD programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Proficient with customer security tools, corporate repositories, playbooks and guidelines
Knowledgeable with applicable frameworks, regulations, standards, policies and procedures
Operational understanding of server and IA technologies, internet working protocols and services
Certifications & Compliance with DoD 8140.03 with IAMLevel II or higher (CASP+, CISSP or higher)
