Job Description
Full‑time position for the 2026–27 school year, 192‑day contract. The role serves students in the Perry School District and two non‑public schools. Heartland AEA supports 57 public districts, 44 nonpublic schools, and 2 charter schools across central Iowa, serving more than 150,000 students. The agency is recognized by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) for proficiency in the Excellence in School Psychological Services (ESPS) program.
What You’ll Do
Provide psychological services that promote students’ academic achievement, behavioral health, and mental health
Collaborate with educators, families, and community partners to support individualized learning and behavioral plans
Contribute to the RtI/MTSS model through assessments, interventions, and data‑informed decision‑making
Participate in Child Find activities to identify and support students with special needs
