Position Overview
Report to Regional Marketing Director. Support marketing activity within region to facilitate sales and revenue opportunities. Duties include tracking and presenting data, training and incenting front counter reps and techs, creating local promotions, helping with budget and monthly P&L review, coordinating local events.

Position Responsibilities
Lead special projects as assigned, managing all aspects from planning, communication, implementation and reporting.
Collect and manage competitive intelligence.
Prepare spreadsheets and reports for marketing activities, communications, budget and daily performance.
Assist with preparation of customer notification elements for employees and customers.
Maintain, coordinate and edit collateral and marketing materials by securing accurate information, providing direction to internal and external individuals, proofing and obtaining required approvals.
Execute the following: tracking marketing proposals, miscellaneous requests and expenses, writing and editing, verification of quantities and delivery information, requests for data extraction, programming projects, code discrepancy resolution and other projects as requested.
Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies and incentives for use in customer service and technical departments.
Responsible for coaching and training customer service and technical staff on marketing campaigns and offers to achieve sales goals.
Work closely with personnel from all regional departments, Field Operation Group, Corporate and outside vendors on various projects and activity.
Plan, coordinate and execute marketing events including but not limited to home shows, open houses, fairs and other community events to promote all Mediacom products and services. This may include evenings and weekend work along with travel.
Commitment to job completion may require excess of 40 hours.
Other duties as assigned.
Travel is required along with some evening and weekend work.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field, or equivalent preferred.
1-2 years progressive advancement in an advertising or marketing role preferred.
Awareness of competitive conditions.
Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs. Intermediate Excel skills required.
Proven ability to deliver multiple assignments accurately, successfully and independently.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
