
Plant Manager

(New Orleans, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily operations, prioritize production efficiency, and lead digital transformation initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties
Oversee and manage all plant operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met
Develop and implement strategies to prioritize production schedules and optimize workflow efficiency
Lead efforts to digitize plant operations, including the adoption of new technologies, automation systems, and data-driven processes
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations
Manage staffing, training, and performance of plant personnel
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall operational effectiveness
Requirements/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in plant management or manufacturing leadership role
Strong knowledge of production planning, process improvement, and lean manufacturing principles
Experience with digital transformation, automation, or manufacturing systems (ERP/MES)
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions to improve performance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods within a plant environment
Capability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with varying temperatures and noise levels
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
