Role Overview

This role is a key support function for the Central Pediatrics Marketing team, with primary responsibility for owning, managing, and reporting the Central Marketing Budget. The individual in this role will be accountable for maintaining budget accuracy, making updates and adjustments, planning and forecasting, and delivering clear, timely reporting to the organization.

In addition to budget ownership, this role provides hands on support for Similac marketing initiatives, including agency artwork coordination, newsletter video support, and managing approval processes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring financial rigor while enabling marketing execution.

Core Responsibilities
The candidate will:

Own the end to end Central Marketing Budget for pediatrics

Maintain accuracy across budget tracking, updates, adjustments, and forecasts

Create and deliver regular budget reports to leadership and cross functional partners

Identify and proactively manage spend risks to avoid over spend or under spend

Support Similac marketing initiatives, including:

Artwork creation and coordination with agencies

Newsletter video development support

Approval workflow management

Manage and review:

Statements of work (SOWs)

Contracts

Internal budget transfers

Supplier service approvals

Invoicing

Required Skills & Capabilities
We are looking for someone who:

Is highly proficient in Excel, including managing multiple tabs and complex data sets

Can create clear, professional PowerPoint presentations for reporting and decision making

Is extremely organized and detail oriented, with strong follow through

Is a self starter who demonstrates curiosity and strong problem solving skills

Can balance flexibility and solution orientation with strict adherence to processes, rules, and controls

Thinks proactively and can anticipate issues before they arise, especially related to budget risks

Collaboration & Communication
This role requires strong interpersonal and presentation skills. The candidate will:

Meet bi weekly with brand leads to review budget status and adjustments

Present twice per month to the broader team, including budget updates, risks, and approvals neededWork closely with marketing, finance, agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Be comfortable asking questions, clarifying details, and driving alignment across teams
