
Marketing Communications Intern

Key Responsibilities
Manage and schedule social media content to boost engagement.
Draft newsletter content with team support.
Improve email flows and data in Mailchimp.
Write clear, engaging copy for digital and print.
Support video content creation for campaigns.
Assist with general marketing and communications projects.
Key Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent
ative English (writing samples required).
Strong time management and multitasking skills.
Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player.
Passion for civic engagement, public policy, and gender equity.
Currently enrolled or recently graduated in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, PR, or related field.
Comfortable working with diverse NYC communities.
Creative thinker with problem-solving initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating written and video content.
Familiarity with Mailchimp (email marketing, tagging, sequencing).
Background in writing on child protection, law enforcement, or policy.
Experience with CMS platforms.
Start date:
September 2025
Hybrid:
In-office days: Tuesday & Thursday.
Compensation:
$16-$22/Hour
Duration:
This internship requires a time commitment of 20 hours per week for a duration of at least 6 months.
