Quality Engineer – Elevate Aerospace Excellence
Kent, WA | Full-Time, Day Shift (M–F) | Reports to: Quality Manager
Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 (DOE) | FAA Repair Station Environment
Advance aerospace innovation with precision and purpose.
Your Mission
Partner directly with aerospace commercial, defense, and space OEMs and suppliers, to resolve technical issues and interpret engineering specs and drawings.
Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce Cost of Poor Quality.
Develop and implement quality standards and process improvements across production.
Support FAA Repair Station return‑to‑service authorizations.
Host audits and customer visits and train cross‑functional teams on quality best practices.
Your Flight Plan
Preferred Experience:
5+ years in aerospace manufacturing or finishing; AS9100 & Nadcap familiarity preferred.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; quality certifications a plus.
Skills:
Strong analytical mindset, hands‑on with measuring tools, ERP/QMS systems (Syteline preferred), and technical documentation.
Certifications:
FAA Repairman Certificate and auditor training are advantageous.
