Development Engineering Intern - Thermal Management / Validation
As an Engineering Intern (Thermal Management / Validation) reporting to the Head of EVTM App Eng TMM-C / Valves / Lines, you will assist in the execution of R&D product development for internal and external customer projects.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design and build of sample parts.
Assist in the design and build of test fixtures and complete thermal management module test setups.
Manage test set up and instrumentation with engineering technicians.
Execute experimental testing of thermal systems and components.
Analyze engineering data and produce reports.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Basic understanding of thermal systems.
Foundational knowledge of refrigeration system thermodynamics.
Basic understanding of hydraulic principles, including coolant and refrigerant circuits.
Exposure to or experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
Understanding of quality control principles and quality-related statistical methods.
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $23.00
