Hankook North America OE Technical Account Manager
Job Description:
The main responsibility for this position includes being the program manager for new product launches. And the technical liaison between the Hankook OE customers (automobile manufacturers) and the internal Hankook teams of Engineering, R&D, Quality, Sales, and Manufacturing.
Position Responsibilities:
Receiving and analyzing customer technical RFQ documents and Engineering requirements
Deliver project technical requirements to Hankook R&D teams
Present technical assessments and program timing to customers
Develop program launch timelines and timing plans
Be the program manager for new product launches to deliver new products according to the timing plan
Become knowledgeable in using customer communication portals
Be the lead technical communicator and be the first contact to customers for all technical items
Manage and lead quality issue resolution and reporting to customers
Weekly/monthly reporting on project development and timing status
Make technical presentations to customers
Analyze car market technical trends
Join product testing when necessary
Preselling Hankook new products to customers
Gather information related to customer new vehicle plans and future technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline required
Experience working for a Tier 1 automotive supplier
Experience working directly with automobile manufacturers
Excellent communication skills
Excellent English language knowledge
Tire Industry experience preferred but not required
