Overview
Civil Engineer Designer – Water Resources in Tucson, AZ. As our Civil Engineer Designer for the Engineering team in Tucson, AZ, you\'ll contribute to the planning, analysis, and design of stormwater, flood control, and water/wastewater systems while growing your technical skills alongside experienced mentors. Your work will directly support projects that strengthen and sustain local communities.
What You\'ll Do
Hydrologic & Hydraulic Modeling : Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and related calculations
Technical Reporting & Documentation : Support technical reports, memorandums, and project documentation
Infrastructure Planning & Design Support : Assist with planning, analysis, and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
Fieldwork & Project Coordination : Participate in field visits, data collection, and coordination with project teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
0-4 years of civil engineering design experience
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification or can be obtained within 1 year of hire
Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PC-Hydro Flo-2D)
Experience using Civil 3D, OpenRoads, GIS software
Active in or desire to participate in industry related organizations
