
Maintenance Planner

Primary Purpose of Position
Plan and prepare work packages for work to be performed by the respective maintenance departments and contractors, to ensure that the plant is maintained in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, in compliance with the company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Prepare work instructions and work packages to assist the planners that provide direction to the Maintenance Department for corrective maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance and the implementation of modifications.
Interface with Work Management, Supply and Engineering to identify and resolve priorities and work package issues utilizing excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Define procedures, drawings, equipment and materials required to performing planned work packages.
Conduct field walk‑downs to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance, modification activities.
Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable station procedures. Review all required work packages and submit for approval before executing. Manage multiple projects, establish work priorities and achieve results.
Assist in planned and forced outage coordination as required.
All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.

Expected salary range of $107,100 to $119,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2 years power plant maintenance and/or operations experience OR
Associate's degree with 4 years power plant maintenance and/or operations experience OR
High school diploma/GED with 6 years power plant maintenance and/or operations experience
Maintain minimum access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years planning experience in a power plant environment
Experience with Hyperion system
