Environmental Geologist

What You’ll Be Doing:

Performs various field and office tasks supporting environmental investigations, remedial designs and remedial construction oversight.

Develops and/or oversees field investigation programs, including soil borings and groundwater monitoring.

Reviews boring logs and develops subsurface soil profiles.

Completes investigation and construction field assignments (may require occasional travel and limited lifting).

Coordinates laboratory testing programs and analyzes and interprets laboratory test results.

Writes technical reports and memos.

Works effectively and collaboratively with the project team.

Develops management skills to grow into a Task Manager/Project Manager/Technical Lead position.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Implements behavior-based safety practices to achieve incident‑free operations for both client and Parsons.

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or related field

Master’s degree in similar fields preferred but not required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer software applications.

Demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication skills.

Effective interpersonal skills.

Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred but not required.

3+ years of related work experience.

Fit for Duty Exam:
This position requires a Fit for Duty exam as part of the job requirements. Successful completion of this exam(s) will be required post‑offer acceptance, prior to you being able to continue in the hiring process and onboarding.

Salary Range:
$55,300.00 - $96,800.00
