Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking a

Marketing & Outreach Specialist

to assist in promoting the mission and brand of UGLFH to customers, the public, the media, and employees through various marketing and outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

Create and distribute outreach materials to patients, community members, partner organizations and businesses.

Recruit and coordinate volunteers to participate in community events on behalf of UGLFH.

Lead and participate in presentations at local community events and organizations.

Work as a liaison in coordinating marketing efforts in partnership with any contracted marketing and communication firms.

Create new and innovative marketing materials and creatives to advance organizational branding.

Coordinate the writing, review, and/or distribution of press releases and other public-facing communications.

Manage social media accounts, develop engaging content, and implement creative strategy to build brand awareness and advance marketing objectives.

Participate and engage with area businesses and organizations through various events, conferences, podcasts, and radio broadcasts.

Support public speaking opportunities, both internally and externally, to promote brand awareness and education surrounding UGLFH.

Identify potential opportunities to partner with individuals, businesses, and organizations through additional outreach efforts.

Job Qualifications

Associate's degree in a relevant subject area such as Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Health Care Management, or related field. Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.

Experience in a marketing and communications position, supporting the coordination and execution of marketing and communication projects.

Experience with photography and image editing software, preferred.

Well‑developed oral and written communications skills to meet a variety of communication needs.

Strong understanding of social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram.

Comfortable serving as company spokesperson for local market news media opportunities or at events.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Teams and Adobe Acrobat.

Willingness to travel to clinic locations and events.
