## ****All Job Postings will close at 12:01 a.m. CT on the specified Closing Date (if designated).******Working Title:**Assistant Professor of Nursing**Institution:**Minnesota State University, Moorhead**Classification Title:**State University Faculty**Bargaining Unit / Union:**209: Inter Faculty Organization**City:**Moorhead**FLSA:**Job Exempt**Full Time / Part Time:**Full time**Employment Condition:**Unclassified - Limited Academic (Fixed Term)**Salary Range:**$64,963.00 - $188,620.00**Please note, our external career site will be unavailable to view open positions and accept applications on Saturday, April 25, 2026.****Responsibilities:*** Primary responsibilities are to teach in the on campus and in-person undergraduate, prelicensure nursing program in theory, clinical, and lab settings.* Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs.* Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field, provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities.* Contribute to curricular and programmatic assessment, evaluation, and continual refinement.* Contribute to student growth and development including student advising.* Support Minnesota State University Moorhead’s strategic priority of creating a campus community that is diverse, inclusive, globally aware, and just.* To develop and implement curriculum within a team-teaching model of instruction for a nursing curriculum with emphasis on quality, safety, health, healing, holistic nursing, diversity, equity, and inclusion.**Salary Range:**$64,963-$193,146 annually.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Master’s Degree in Nursing* Must meet Higher Learning Commission [HLC] faculty credentialing guidelines [e.g., have 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline the faculty is teaching]* Demonstrated commitment to quality teaching and experience with lesson, course, and curriculum development* Minimum of three (3) years of nursing practice experience* Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills* Experience in teaching/working with persons from diverse backgrounds

Current unencumbered U.S. RN license (Must obtain MN and ND RN licensure prior to start date)**Preferred Qualifications:*** Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field* Experience in university teaching in baccalaureate or graduate nursing* Experience in teaching nursing education online, hybrid, and on campus

Experience in holistic health and healing principles* Experience developing and using student-centered, active, and experiential learning strategies, including using a variety of technology and platforms (i.e., ATI, D2L, Simulation, NGN, Teams, Zoom, Outlook, AI)* Experience assessing student academic achievement* Experience working with national accreditation and Boards of Nursing

Current unencumbered RN license in MN and ND**Other Requirements:*** The successful candidate must be able to lawfully accept employment in the United States by the day employment begins.
