Platform Engineer
As a Platform Engineer, you’ll help build and operate the foundational infrastructure behind an enterprise Digital Twin and modeling and simulation platform. You’ll support containerized platforms and deployment pipelines that enable real-time visualization, simulation, and analytics across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
You will work with senior platform, DevOps, and application engineers in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, gaining hands-on experience supporting systems operating under DoD security and ATO constraints while learning how large-scale digital platforms are built and sustained.
Responsibilities
Build and sustain critical systems, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with partners to maintain platform quality.
Deploy and manage containerized services using Kubernetes.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience working with containerized applications or platforms
2+ years of experience with Kubernetes fundamentals
2+ years of experience with Docker or OCI containers
Experience working in Linux-based environments
Knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform or Helm
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice to Have
Experience supporting hybrid cloud or on-prem deployments
Knowledge of regulated, government, or DoD environments
Knowledge of container hardening or secure baseline concepts
Secret clearance
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $62,000.00 - $141,000.00 annualized USD.
