Our client is seeking a compassionate and motivated
Associate Veterinarian
to join a modern, AAHA‑accredited small‑animal hospital. This role offers the opportunity to practice high‑quality medicine in a collaborative, well‑equipped environment with a strong focus on patient care, teamwork, and professional development.
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to companion animals (primarily dogs and cats). You will work alongside an experienced clinical team, supported by strong leadership and access to advanced diagnostic and treatment resources.

Compensation:
$121,000-$150,000 + Bonus + Relocation Assistance
Responsibilities
Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented hospital culture.
Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients on preventative care.
Interpret diagnostic tests (radiology, laboratory results, cytology, etc.).
Participate in continuing education, training, and professional development.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure high standards of patient care.
Provide surgical and dental care, including routine soft‑tissue procedures and extractions.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians, support staff, and referring veterinarians.
Perform physical exams, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Internship training is a plus but not required.
Strong communication, client‑education, and teamwork skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑doctor hospital environment.
Eligible for Connecticut Veterinary License (active license or ability to obtain).
2+ years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
