This role is an excellent opportunity to apply engineering principles in a real-world setting and develop a broad understanding of how a facility's physical plant and documentation systems are managed in a leading technology company.**What You Will Do*** Assist in a site-wide initiative to identify, document, and apply asset tags to critical facility equipment.* Organize and digitize a large volume of existing engineering drawings and prints.* Systematically sort through and catalog hard-copy binders containing crucial equipment documentation and technical drawings.* Play a key role in designing and creating a centralized digital repository for all facilities-related documentation, including drawings, manuals, and maintenance records.* Work with the engineering team to establish a logical structure and naming convention for the repository to ensure easy access and long-term usability.* Shadow and support senior facilities engineers and technicians to understand the operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.* Assist in documenting existing equipment maintenance procedures and schedules.* Support project managers and superintendents with various tasks, which may include observing meetings, preparing reports, and helping to coordinate activities.**What You Will Need*** Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.* Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and prints.* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software.* Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail are essential for the documentation and repository aspects of this role.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* A proactive and independent worker who can also collaborate effectively within a team environment.* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.Join Allegro and become part of a team where your contributions truly matter.We foster a culture of **Real Innovation**, empowering you to push boundaries, develop cutting-edge solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
