KBE Electric Co., Inc. is a trusted electrical contractor based in Tacoma, WA with decades of experience serving commercial and industrial clients. We are known for delivering high-quality electrical installations, remodels, system upgrades, and new construction projects.
We are currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers, including: commercial, industrial, healthcare, marine/port.
Responsibilities:
* Install or repair electrical equipment and fixtures.
* Install various types of raceways and cable tray systems.
* Bend conduit with both hand and powered benders.
* Troubleshoot motor and control systems and evaluate electrical systems and determine corrective actions.
* Perform routine maintenance and reviewers or evaluations of electrical wiring and systems.
* Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
* Participate in all construction plans, safety plans and complete any required documentation.
* Work as an individual installer dispatched to new jobsites working on projects as small as a service call or as a team on projects lasting multiple months.
Qualifications:
* Washington State EL01 Journeyman License.
* Good familiarity reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
* Good familiarity with electrical equipment, hand tools and power tools. Includes: hand and electric conduit benders.
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Expected to evaluate problems and propose solutions.
Preferred
* Ability to pass a drug and background test
* Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
* Experience with remodels and new construction projects
* Experience with electrical service upgrades or panel installations
* Previous experience leading apprentices or small crews
Certifications
Preferred certifications include:
* Washington State Journeyman Electrician License (EL01)
* OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
* CPR / First Aid Certification
* NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training
