About the Role
Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician Assistant to work in the Brain Injury unit at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

Patient Assessment & Diagnosis

Conduct and document comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.

Order, perform, and interpret laboratory results and diagnostic studies to formulate accurate diagnoses.

Clinical Management & Treatment

Develop and manage treatment plans for a variety of medical and surgical conditions.

Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Attending, adhering to all New Jersey state regulations.

Collaboration & Advocacy

Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Serve as a dedicated clinical resource and passionate advocate for patients and their families.

Patient & Family Education

Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, and effective health education to empower patients and their families throughout the care journey.

Requirements

Certification : Must hold an active Physician Assistant‑Certified (PA‑C) credential.

Education : Master’s degree from an ARC‑PA accredited Physician Assistant program.

Licensure : Must possess an active and unrestricted New Jersey state license as a Physician Assistant.

Experience : Open to both experienced practitioners and new graduates.

Compensation
Minimum Starting Base Salary: $148,803.20 Annually
