The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time SeniorNuclear Medicine Technologist to join our innovative Brain Mapping Center. The Brain Mapping Center advances the understanding of the human brain by exploring the relationship between structure and function.
As our SeniorNuclear Medicine Technologist you will play a critical role in supporting cutting-edge research by performing and managing sophisticated imaging procedures. You will work in a collaborative, research-driven environment alongside leading neuroscientists and clinicians.
Key responsibilities
Perform PET and MRI imaging (structural and functional)
Prepare research participants and scanning areas and ensure safety and comfort
Assist with interventional procedures and administer contrast materials under radiologist supervision
Conduct routine quality control checks and troubleshoot technical issues
Administer contrast materials under radiologist supervision
Maintain detailed research participants records and imaging documentation
Coordinate research participant flow and provide research participant education on procedures
Support investigators with protocol development, scheduling, and data management
Collaborate with researchers, staff, and research participants to ensure compliance with safety and research standards
Salary range: $60.51/hr - $79.82/hr
