Inventory Specialist
As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and distributing both new and donated merchandise. Reporting directly to the Manager of New Goods and Online Retail Operations, you will be responsible for receiving shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing items for distribution, and supporting warehouse operations. This position ensures that merchandise is properly handled, secured, and routed while keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.

Your Typical Day:
Move, stage, load, and unload merchandise within the warehouse
Sort, price, pack, wrap, and transport donated and new goods
Document received shipments and enter new goods into the POS system
Maintain accurate inventory totals and assist with periodic inventory counts
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, stackers, and forklifts
Communicate with the transportation department and support ecommerce as needed
Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety procedures
Appropriately dispose of unsalable or unrecyclable items
Participate in staff meetings and assist with additional tasks as requested
What You'll Need:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs consistently, 50 lbs occasionally, and push/pull up to 100 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
Forklift certification (training and certification provided)
Experience with material handling equipment
Basic data entry and inventory management skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and quickly complete tasks
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
