Job Description

This is a non-patient-facing, administrative support role focused on helping patients navigate the healthcare system. The Healthcare Coordinator plays a critical role in managing referrals, authorizations, and ensuring patients can follow through on their care plans.
Key Responsibilities

Handle patient referrals and coordinate with providers
Manage prior authorizations for services
Communicate with patients by phone to resolve barriers to care
Support patients facing challenges such as lack of insurance, transportation, or language barriers
Collaborate with internal departments like the enrollment team
Track care coordination to ensure follow-through and "close the loop" on services
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (required)
Experience in healthcare, insurance, or patient service
Bilingual in Spanish/English (required)
