Receptionist / Guest Experience Coordinator
Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston Flagship Location
Compensation: $40,000$50,000 annually (The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years and experience within the industry, education, etc.)

As part of our mission to be the most guest-centric automotive retailer, the Receptionist serves as the first impression of our brand and is a critical part of the guest experience. This role is far more than a traditional front desk position. You will be the face and often the voice of the dealership, setting the tone for every interaction and ensuring each guest receives a polished, professional, and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive or call. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and takes pride in representing a premier dealership. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, highly organized, and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist all walk-in guests with professionalism, warmth, and urgency
Manage a high volume of inbound phone calls and direct guests efficiently to the appropriate department or team member
Assess guest needs quickly and ensure a seamless transition to sales, service, or management teams
Provide accurate information, take detailed messages, and ensure timely communication
Support administrative and clerical duties that contribute to daily operational excellence
Maintain the front reception area as a polished reflection of our flagship facility
Adapt to evolving business needs and support additional responsibilities as assigned by management
What We're Looking For
Exceptional communication and guest service skills
Professional presence and polished demeanor
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-energy dealership environment
Flexible approach to responsibilities and willingness to support multiple areas of the operation
Strong computer and phone proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook
Sense of urgency, attention to detail, and commitment to guest satisfaction
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
Flexible schedule, including late shifts
Must be at least 18 years old
Must pass pre-employment screening
