Position: Supply Clerk
Department: Facilities
Reports To: Procurement & Supply Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for coordinating supply requests and distribution; assists with daily operations of the mailroom.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Essential Functions:
Unloads equipment/supply shipments delivered via truck.
Places orders with vendors as approved by Purchasing/Supply Manager.
Maintains accurate inventory of supplies utilizing the online inventory tracking software.
Issues supply items and deliver supplies to various departments.
Prepares supply delivery tickets.
Enters inbound and outbound supplies into inventory software system.
Monitors supplies on hand and notifies Purchasing/Supply Manager when inventory becomes low.
Responsible for compliance with all Federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
Utilizes The Member Advantage AIDINC system to identify potential member (internal or external) service needs which can be met through the sale of credit union products and services, or adherence to the department's policy and procedures.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs courier runs in absence of courier.
Serves as back up to Mail Room Clerk and to Purchasing/Supply Manager, as needed

Education: A high school education or GED.
Experience and Other Requirements:
One to three years of similar or related experience.
Accuracy and attention to detail required.
Excellent communication and organization skills required.
Must possess valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
Must be flexible and be able to handle multiple tasks in a friendly, helpful manner.
Must be able to communicate with employees at all levels, as well as supply and mail management vendors.
Interpersonal Skills: Work normally involves contacts with persons beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors) requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Computer Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred.
Experience with e-mail software and use of the Internet required.
Experience with purchasing software preferred
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: Valid drivers license required.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or grasp; reach with arms and hands; and stoop, crouch, or kneel. The employee is frequently required to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to drive a motor vehicle for mail and supply deliveries.
Work Environment: The noise level is that of a normal office environment. The employee is frequently required to drive a motor vehicle in all weather conditions.
