Adventist Health System - 1010 Murray Avenue - Responsibilities: Schedules patients for surgery and completes appropriate paperwork for surgery facilities; Verifies patient insurance coverage, determines whether surgical referrals or authorizations are needed and begins necessary processes; Answers phone calls, takes referrals, receives messages and transfers calls, as appropriate; Faxes medication lists to doctors and performs other faxing, as necessary; Files, photocopies and scans client records
