Shipping Clerk

PrideStaff is currently recruiting for a network equipment and services company that is in search of a Shipping Clerk to join their team. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the shipping operation. The ideal Shipping Clerk has experience preparing shipments, packaging shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and ensuring timely fulfillment. The Shipping Clerk position is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with the possibility of being a direct-hire position in Penfield, NY.
Shipping Clerk Job Responsibilities:

Organize, Pack & Label Products for Shipping According to Customer Orders & Specifications
Create Shipping Labels, Packing Lists & Other Documents
Arrange Shipping with Third-Party Carriers & Transportation Companies & Ensure Timely Deliveries for Domestic & International Shipments
Check to Make Sure all Shipments are Properly Packed and Going to the Correct Destination
Monitor the Status of All Shipments & Communicate any Issues with the Operations Manager
Assist With General Warehouse Tasks Including Organizing Products, Maintaining Cleanliness, and Ensuring Safety Procedures are Followed
Adhere to all Company Policies, Industry Regulations & Safety Standards for Shipping Operations
Ensure Sufficient Packing Techniques to Minimize Outbound Order Damage
Manage Packing Material Supply Inventory
Work as Necessary in Different Operational Departments & Contribute to the Company's Compliance With Laws, Regulations, Safety & ISO Standards
Shipping Clerk Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
3+ Years of Related Experience in A Shipping or Warehouse Environment
Knowledge of Shipping Software, Inventory Software & Logistics Platforms (NetSuite, FedEx, UPS, DHL)
Must Have a Strong Attention to Detail & Excellent Organizational Skills
Must Have Good Communication Skills, Verbal & Written
Must be Able to Lift 50 lbs or More

Must be 18+ Years Old
Must be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background Check
Must be Willing to Submit to a Drug Screen
Must be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $25.00
