Under general supervision, this position is responsible for utilizing LaserPro loan documentation system to prepare consumer and commercial loan documents for various loan types. Performs collateral perfection on consumer real estate transactions and maintains all data files and loan documents for loans in the process of closing. Provides support for the Consumer, Retail Banking, and Commercial departments as well as external customers regarding questions related to loan documents, payment information, and title work.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Prepares consumer loan documents, utilizing LaserPro, for the retail banking network and/or VIP Banking associates. This duty is performed daily, about 60% of the time.
Performs collateral perfection for all consumer real estate transactions and Missouri consumer titled transactions. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
Reviews loan checklists and approvals to prepare loan documentation in LaserPro for all types of commercial loans including, but not limited to, new commercial loans, construction loans, and all modifications and renewals. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
Collects copies of signed consumer loan documents, verifying a complete file is received, and prepares the loan package for the Boarding & Release team. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of the time.
Collects original, signed loan documents and organizes loan files according to the standard file organization requirements, preparing the file for imaging and post-closing review. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
Answers routine inquiries and questions from customers and banking center personnel related to loan documents, payment information, and title work. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking rules, regulations and laws (including BSA/AML).
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Education And Experience
Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines. Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
