We are seeking a manager to help build and lead our state‑of‑the‑art dental laboratory into the future. In this role, you will oversee a talented team, the latest technology, and quality materials to consistently deliver high‑quality restorations that fit and are delivered on time to dental offices.
As Lab Manager, you will be responsible for the quality, consistency, and timeliness of every case that leaves the lab, as well as bringing a spirit of constant innovation that ensures we are always offering the latest in restorative possibilities, materials, digital workflows, and clinical technologies.
We want to work for you too. We are committed to keeping you at the forefront of the dental and dental lab industry through company‑paid continuing education, association memberships, and dedicated time to stay current on the latest techniques, technologies, and protocols.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead crown and bridge, implant restoration, and removable prosthetic departments to the highest standards, ensuring consistent, high‑quality cases delivered on time and within budget.
Create, run, and optimize CAD/CAM workflows including scanning, design, milling, and 3D printing, as well as traditional analog workflows as needed.
Manage complex, high‑judgment cases including full‑arch implants, custom abutments, layered zirconia, and challenging fit, esthetic, or functional considerations.
Collaborate directly with dentists and specialists on case planning, impression taking, shade matching, and clinical outcomes.
Mentor and develop the lab technician team through hands‑on guidance and example.
Oversee the daily case queue, ensuring work is assigned to the right team members and all turnaround commitments are met.
Train new technicians on lab protocols, materials, and techniques.
Identify quality issues and trends in deliverables and work with the team to solve problems at the bench level.
Provide input on materials, equipment, and technology decisions that continuously improve restoration quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency.
Work with the team to maintain inventory and supplies to avoid production delays.
Communicate clearly with dentists on technical details, case timelines, and clinical questions.
Track and report on quality, fit, on‑time delivery, and budget performance using our lab KPI system.
Compensation
This position offers a very attractive base salary based on experience, plus a performance bonus tied to customer satisfaction and lab growth, with significant upside participation as the lab grows.
