What You’ll Do
Care for patients with congestive heart failure (CHF), coronary artery disease (CAD), diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and other disease processes.
Manage continuous infusions including milrinone, amiodarone, dobutamine, insulin.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
Monitor cardiac rhythms.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care.
Understand how cardiology interconnects with other body systems.
Care for patients requiring oxygen therapy utilizing high‑flow nasal cannula or BiPAP.
Educate patients on heart health, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
Manage post‑cardiac interventions such as pacemakers, lifeVest, and automated implantable cardioverter‑defibrillator (AICD) placement.
What We’re Looking For
Licensed registered nurse or new graduate nurse eligible for licensure.
Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.
Qualifications
Minimum education required:
Graduate of a nursing program.
Minimum experience required:
New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
Minimum licensure/certification required by law:
Current license in the State of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC multistate license. BLS certification required.
For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum). If you have additional specialty certification, it will be an advantage.
Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
