Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required. State radiologic technologist licensure for Arizona required. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Minimum 1 year of clinical radiography experience required. This role requires recent experience in an acute hospital radiology environment. Experience performing a broad range of general radiographic procedures and producing high-quality diagnostic images. Demonstrated ability to perform equipment quality control and basic troubleshooting. Ability to safely lift and assist patients up to 75 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required for certain facility locations; candidate must obtain and maintain card if assigned to those areas. Preferred: Additional related education and/or experience in acute care or interventional radiography. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. City, State: Glendale, AZ. Shift: Evenings. Position Summary This position performs prescribed radiographic procedures according to departmental policies, procedures, and protocols. The technologist produces and presents high-quality images for timely interpretation, educates patients and families regarding procedures, and maintains accurate documentation. The role requires adherence to safety policies, performance of equipment quality control, and participation in maintaining department workflow and supply inventory. The technologist practices within legal, ethical, and professional standards and contributes to a positive service experience for patients and colleagues. Core Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and prepare images for interpretation following established protocols. Provide patient education and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records of procedures and quality control checks. Perform routine equipment quality control and escalate technical issues to appropriate personnel. Maintain supply inventory to prevent interruption of services.
