Procurement Specialist (Long term Temporary Assignment)
Onsite | 35 Hours per Week
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support the planning, development, and execution of procurement activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring procurements are completed efficiently, compliantly, and aligned with organizational priorities.
You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to manage the full procurement lifecycle—from initial planning through contract award and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage procurement activities from start to finish
* Develop and track procurement timelines, milestones, and deliverables
* Prepare procurement documents including RFPs, RFQs, IFBs , and sole/single source justifications
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define scopes of work, specifications, and evaluation criteria
* Coordinate solicitation processes, including vendor communications and bid evaluations
* Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable laws, policies, and internal controls
* Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and vendors, maintaining transparency and fairness
* Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and increase efficiency
* Provide guidance and support to staff on procurement procedures
Qualifications
* Experience managing full-cycle procurements
* Strong knowledge of procurement processes, bidding methods, and contract development
* Ability to develop clear and detailed solicitation documents
* Excellent organizational and project management skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
* High attention to detail with a focus on compliance and accuracy
Schedule & Compensation
* 35 hours per week
* Contract assignment (length may vary based on project needs)
