Pest Control Technician

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Pest Control Technician to join our Service Experts HVAC and Plumbing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of pest control duties, including identifying pest species and infestations, and applying pesticides. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of pest control and the laws regarding hazardous materials used for pest control.

Responsibilities:

Apply pesticides to structures per work schedule, safety procedures, and instructions on labels
Identify pest species, rodents, signs of infestations, and damage caused by pests and/or rodents
Comply with federal, state, and local laws to ensure the safe operations of hazardous materials related to our Pest Control services
Conduct inspections of surroundings to ensure the area is clear of pests
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to discuss project requirements and timelines.
Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for pest control projects.
Adhere to pest control codes, laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior pest control technicians.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Coordinate with suppliers to procure pest control materials and equipment.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Pest Control Technician or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of pest control codes, regulations, and best practices.
Strong understanding of pest control systems, materials, and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
Valid pest control license/certification.
Valid driver's license.

Minimum Experience: 6+ Years Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
