
Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide coverage at a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center in Richmond. The ideal provider is comfortable working in a high-acuity environment and flexible with scheduling, as the facility utilizes a mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.

Flexible shifts (8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts available)
Coverage Type:
Inpatient / hospital-based anesthesia services
Environment:
High-volume, fast-paced clinical setting
Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures, including emergent and trauma cases
Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations
Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as appropriate
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols and best practices
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required
Active Virginia CRNA license or ability to obtain
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Experience in trauma or high-acuity settings preferred
Flexibility to work 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
