Chief Technology Office (CTO)
Line of Business, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platform products. You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains. Your work will directly influence the firm's technology strategy and operational excellence.
Job responsibilities
Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional architecture objectives
Makes and is accountable for decisions that influence teams' resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures
Conducts governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations
Champions the firm's culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Drives multiple complex projects and initiatives across departments
Serves as a primary decision maker for architecture teams
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of architecture applications, processes, and product management
Guides the achievement of target state architecture goals
Collaborates with senior leaders to align architecture strategy with business objectives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7+ years applied experience
At least 5 years as a Technology Infrastructure architect
At least 10 years working in a highly regulated financial industry
Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of architects
Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager
Practical cloud native experience
Strong governance and accountability skills
Ability to drive innovation and achieve target state architecture goals
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Deep understanding of architecture applications and processes
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience working at code level
Advanced knowledge of software architecture and technical processes
Experience with portfolio operations and cost management
Familiarity with modern cloud-based technologies
Ability to influence and drive change across teams
Experience in product management within technology organizations
