Description
Responsibilities
Plan, monitor, track all maintenance works timely to uphold ship’s operational readiness.
Plan, manage and track ship’s MRO expenditures, spares and materials utilization.
Manage direct customers, be the main point of contact (i.e. ship, SREC, SSEC).
Lead and manage a team of technicians, engineers and contractors to ensure quality work is done safely and completed on time.
Coordinate with yard from time to time on lapping scope of work.
Conduct Vessel Safety Committee Coordination (VSCC) when ship is on program.
Prepare and timely submission for monthly report to management.
Perform Service acceptance for jobs completed by Production Department.
Check and Approve Works Orders raised by Commercial Department.
Take on secondary roles to support the day-to-day operations of the office.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Naval Architecture/Electrical
Preferably possess 3 years of experience in newbuild or ship repairs related projects
Completed Ship Repair Manager Course
Project Management Skills in the following areas: Planning scheduling and costing, Risk management, Manpower management, Customer Relationship management.
Able to deal and communicate with people effectively at all levels on the ground, identify and manage issues, cost consciousness and urgency to get things done
Familiarity with SAP software will be advantageous
Able to go onboard vessels
Able to work on weekends based on project needs

Location: Pioneer Sector (Daily Transportation Reimbursed To and Fro)
5 days work week
Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
