Overview
Conley Media is seeking a creative, organized Marketing & Multimedia Content Creator to coordinate our digital strategies, special sections, lead photography and video content creation – including reels and other short-form content – drive circulation and audience engagement marketing initiatives, and help organize strategic events. This role focuses on growing audience engagement through the creation and coordination of a variety of special content sections, supporting social media management alongside our marketing coordinators, producing engaging photo and video content, and assisting with community events.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Content & Social Media
Create, schedule, and manage engaging content for our website and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), including reels and other video content, in conjunction with our marketing coordinators.
Implement and optimize monthly social media strategies to increase engagement and followers.
Adapt print content for digital platforms and promote timely, relevant local happenings.
Monitor analytics to inform growth strategies.
Special Section Production, Trafficking and Marketing
Manage and streamline production and coordination of our special sections for our media products. (print & digital)
Support growth of special sections revenue through creative ideas, local engagement and sales collateral.
Coordinate with circulation/sales representatives and Publishers to maintain timely distribution and ad trafficking.
Create visually attractive sale sheets and collateral for various publications and online products.
Marketing Support & Events
Assist in planning, promoting, and executing in-person and virtual events.
Capture and create event photo/video content.
Develop marketing materials, including sales sheets, flyers, and media kits.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of related experience required.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, and video editing tools.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and website editing tools.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within Greater Milwaukee area.
