Under general supervision, this role focuses on building scalable digital tools and insights that enhance supplier performance and procurement operations in North America.
Essential Functions
Design and implement data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
Streamline and automate business processes to reduce manual effort and enhance data accuracy.
Develop intuitive reporting tools and dashboards that support performance monitoring and strategic planning.
Work in cross-functional, multicultural teams to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.
Present insights clearly and drive alignment across departments, using strong communication and analytical skills.
Manage projects in dynamic environments, applying Agile and Scrum methodologies to deliver value iteratively.
Perform safe work practices and participate in trainings and safety programs in a positive and proactive way by following safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards and laws. Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and injuries to management, including your supervisor, or the Safety Department.
Work safely 100% of the time.
Qualifications
Education
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Information Technology or related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
Co‑Op/internship and/or up to 2 years' professional experience in the following areas: managing complex information system environments and delivering responsive end‑user support; design and development, from requirements gathering to deployment; database design, development, and administration with a focus on performance and security; project management, leading cross‑functional initiatives from planning through execution.
Necessary Skills
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Power Automate for data automation and workflow optimization.
Advanced skills in Excel (including VBA/macros), Power BI, and PowerApps for reporting and tool development.
Strong command of Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and data visualization best practices.
Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams in a multicultural environment.
Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Project management experience with familiarity in Agile and Scrum methodologies to drive digital initiatives at MBUSI.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the automotive industry or with ERP systems such as SAP.
Familiarity with data governance practices, ETL tools, and version control systems.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, APQP, PPAP, and capacity planning processes.
Proficiency in Agile and Scrum project management frameworks.
Spanish or German preferred.
