Base draw $73,000 – $93,000 plus performance-based incentives.

How You Will Make an Impact
The Senior Instructional Designer will develop engaging training across multiple formats—including facilitation guides, job aids, knowledge bases, online learning, instructor-led virtual/classroom sessions, videos, and PowerPoint decks. Responsibilities include producing compelling graphics and video, crafting written direction, and effective storytelling to drive high participation and learning outcomes within the company LMS. The role also involves staying informed on emerging learning technologies and AI trends.

What You Will Do

Provide instructional design support to the training team.

Facilitate collaboration between training, operations, and technology teams to ensure documentation and training align with real-world workflows.

Manage workstream cadences with stakeholders and SMEs; update training materials, documentation, and knowledge assets to maintain accuracy.

Curate and maintain a centralized knowledge base of operational documentation and system guides aligned with departmental processes and LMS learning paths.

Support sustainment and lifecycle management of all training and knowledge content.

Apply instructional strategies for adaptive and personalized learning using learner data and system feedback.

Build blended learning experiences, incorporating graphics and/or videos using Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).

Review and test final products for errors and ensure courses meet learning objectives.

Explore opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging learning technologies to enhance documentation, content curation, learner engagement, tagging, search optimization, and knowledge accessibility.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Articulate current instructional design theories, methodologies, and best practices.

Develop design documents, storyboards, scripts, and assessment tools.

Design and build content with Articulate and Adobe Creative Suite (Storyline 360, Rise, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop) adhering to SCORM standards.

Interpret system functionality and user workflows, converting them into effective learning experiences, job aids, and performance support.

Translate written content into visual descriptions, including graphics, animations, interactive charts, and video scenarios.

Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, business acumen, and advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and manage multiple priorities.

Work independently and collaboratively; communicate status updates on deliverables.

Be a team player.

Education/Experience:

High‑school diploma required.

Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Instructional Design or graphic design preferred.

1–3 years of instructional design experience.

2+ years of video, photography, or graphic design experience preferred.

Portfolio of learning graphic and/or video projects required.

2+ years of experience with typography, color theory, and basic graphic design principles.

2+ years of hospitality or customer‑service experience.

2+ years proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, or After Effects).

2+ years experience with Microsoft SharePoint.

2+ years experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
