Join Our Team as a Yard Worker!
Location: 390 E Gish Road, San Jose, CA 95112 Starting Pay: $24-25
Hours: Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, hours may change/vary due to business needs
Job Summary:
At SCA, we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining cleanliness and organization around our facility, perform light maintenance duties, and maintain the cleanliness of the fleet of vehicles. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
Key Responsibilities as a Yard Worker:
Light maintenance duties such as washing and cleaning both the exterior and interior of the fleet.
Cleaning the exterior of the parking lot of the site location.
Transporting parts as needed.
Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely.
Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork.
Requirements/Skills:
Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests.
Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely.
Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.
Valid Driver's License - CDL is a plus but not required
